I work with adults across the UK, offering in-person counselling from my counselling room in the heart of Norwich, walk & talk counselling at Mousehold Heath, and online counselling to people anywhere in the UK.
Before we start, we’ll have a free 15-minute introductory call so we can talk briefly about what’s brought you to counselling, any initial questions you have, and explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), work within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and hold appropriate professional indemnity insurance.

What you share with me is confidential. I won’t share information about you or our work together without your permission, except in a small number of circumstances where I have a professional or legal responsibility to do so. This may include serious concerns about your safety or someone else’s, safeguarding concerns, or where I’m legally required to disclose information.
I also discuss my work with a supervisor as part of my professional practice. I never share your name with my supervisor, and I take care not to share unnecessary information that could identify you.
I’ll talk through confidentiality and its limits when we begin working together, so you know what to expect and can ask any questions.

Before we start, I offer a free 15-minute call. We can briefly talk about what’s brought you to counselling, you can ask any initial questions, and I can explain a little about how I work and check whether we have a suitable time available.
There’s zero commitment to go ahead if either of us feels it’s not the right fit. -
Sessions are £80 and last for one hour. We meet weekly for as long as we’re working together.
There’s no minimum term or fixed number of sessions — we work together for as long as it feels useful. After our introductory call, I’ll send you an email confirming your regular weekly slot.
If you’re unable to attend for three consecutive weeks or more, I may need to release your regular slot to another client on my waiting list. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may also mean that I need to release your slot.

In-person
My counselling room is in the heart of Norwich.
Online
I offer online counselling to people anywhere in the UK.
Walk & talk
Walk & talk sessions take place at Mousehold Heath in Norwich on Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings. See the walk & talk counselling section below for more information.
-
Payment is required 48 hours in advance and is made by BACS.
If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at the full session rate.
You can end your counselling at any time. I just ask that you give 48 hours’ notice, in line with the cancellation policy.
-
We’ll have the opportunity to start getting to know one another, and you can begin to talk about whatever feels important to you.
At the start of the first session, I’ll also make sure you understand the practical and ethical side of working together, including confidentiality and its limits. We’ll talk about boundaries too — things like what happens if we cross paths outside of counselling — so we’re both clear about how we’ll work together.
-
Counselling sessions are the main place for our work together. You’re welcome to contact me about practical things such as arranging or changing a session, but I don’t provide counselling or therapeutic support by email or message between sessions.
If something difficult or urgent comes up between sessions, please use the appropriate support, emergency or crisis service rather than relying on me as your point of support.
-
Online sessions take place via Google Meets.
You’ll need a private space where you can talk without being overheard, as well as a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.
I’ll send you the details you need before our first session.

Walk & talk sessions take place at Mousehold Heath in Norwich, on Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings.
Sessions begin and end at the car park by Zak’s Mousehold, where there is a public toilet, open 10am - 5pm.The session is still counselling — we’re just not sitting in a room. We’ll walk together whilst we talk, at a pace that feels comfortable.
Because we’re outdoors, there are a few practical differences from being in the counselling room. We may encounter other people, the weather can change, and there isn’t the same level of privacy as there is indoors.
If the weather or conditions make a walk unsuitable, we’ll discuss the alternatives available to us.
If you’re interested in walk and talk counselling we will discuss these issues during your introductory call. -
If you have any accessibility requirements or concerns about whether my counselling room, online sessions or walk & talk sessions will work for you, please get in touch.
I’m happy to talk through what you need rather than expecting you to work it out from a website.
-
Counselling isn’t an emergency or crisis service, and I’m not available around the clock.
If you’re in immediate danger or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, please contact 999, your GP, or go to your nearest A&E department.
If you need urgent mental health support but it isn’t an emergency, you can contact NHS 111 and select the mental health option.
If you’re already working with another health professional or service, it may also be appropriate to contact them.
-
There’s no fixed number of sessions. Some people come for a relatively short period, whilst others stay longer.
If you decide that you want to end counselling, we can talk about it in our session and make space for the ending rather than simply stopping without discussion.
You can end counselling at any time, with 48 hours’ notice in line with the cancellation policy.
